The DSL rack is a rack mountable 19" chassis comprising of 12 card slots a PSU and management module. The rack supports the following DSL modems in card format.
AM2048-CAP 2Mbps DSL modem
AM2048-OPTO Single fibre 2Mbps optical modem
Up to 12 of the above cards can be located into the chassis. A mixture of cards and user interfaces can also be accommodated. Each card can be configured and managed from the management module either locally via the front panel LCD screen, or remotely via the units terminal port. It is also possible to daisy chain racks together so control and management can be conducted from a single platform.
The cards available for the chassis can have a variety of user interfaces including X.21 V.35 and G.703 (75 and 120 Ohm). All the cards have an equivalent stand alone unit.
In summary the AM-DSL-RACK gives you the power to manage and control a number of high speed digital services to your remote sites from a single compact management station.
