The AM-MAN-RACK is a 12 slot 19" rack mountable chassis into which the user can place the following AM series modems in card format.

The above cards may be any mix and in any order, with different interfaces if required. The chassis management module provides system configuration and testing via a front panel LCD display or by a RS232 interface for VT100 style management.

The cards available for the chassis can have a variety of user interfaces including X.21, V.35 and RS530. All the cards have an equivalent stand alone unit.

Up to 10 racks may be daisy chained together and controlled from a single management module making the rack system a very powerful data communication platform for managing you remote sites.
