The stand alone 10Mbps converter units are perfectly suited to the work group environment where for example they can connect a UTP segment to a fibre backbone. Like the modular cards the units are furnished with diagnostic LED's to indicate link state on both ports, duplex mode, unit power and collisions. Together they provide the user with a powerful fault finding utility.

All media types associated with 10Mbps Ethernet are catered for including both multi and single mode fibre. With the single mode fibre card you can extend your LAN diameter to over 15Km.
