The CCM 1600 19" rack mountable modular chassis is ideally suited for the communications room environment. Supporting up to 16 channels, the user can transparently link backbone equipment such as switches and routers to LAN work group segments.

Because each channel operates independently, new modules may be fitted as required. This flexibility allows the unit to grow with the network, be it new media or a strategic migration from 10Mbps networks to Fast Ethernet or Gigabit technologies.

The chassis features an internal power supply, with an optional RPS to provide redundancy. Installation is easy, modules simply slide into the chassis and the media is connected. All of the CCM 1600 cards and power supplies are hot swappable thus eliminating costly network downtime.
