The CLE range of bridging converters allows users to connect both 10Mbps and 100Mbps UTP devices to fibre optic cabling.

Each unit has an auto sensing 10/100Mbps UTP port and a fibre optic port. Various distances from 2Km to 40Km can be achieved depending on the type of fibre and the converter that is chossen.

The 10/100Mbps UTP port will automatically adjust to provide either a cross over or a straight through connection (depending if the unit is connected to an end station or a hub/switch port). The fibre optic segment can be hard set by means of a DIP switch to operate in either full or half duplex mode.
