The CN series of converter chassis are available in either 20 slot or a 4 slot versions. Each slot can hold a CN series converter card. The converter cards cater for a range of ethernet speeds and media, from UTP to fibre in both single and multimode formats.
An SNMP card can be housed in the chassis to provide SNMP management from a platform such as HP Openview. Alternativley the CN units can be managed using a web browser and XML.
The CN-2000 sets new standards for enclosure fit and finish. The 2U high 19" rackmount black chassis contrasts with the gold anodized face plates of the converter cards. A full width air inlet chamber ensures superior cooling across all cards.
All cards and power supplies are hot swappable to minimise network downtime. The option of a back-up redundant power supply is also available.
