The CT-2304 is designed to transport serial data at speeds of up to 2.3Mbps over a 2 wire twisted pair circuit, such as those meeting the BT EPS-9 specification. The unit uses the very latest G.SHDSL line coding to ensure maximum reach and data rate. The CT-2304 has a multi protocol serial interface that can support X.21, V.35 and RS-530.
The CT-2304 can be used to provide connectivity between all manner of serial devices such as routers, multiplexers and video conferencing equipment.
The CT-2304 can be configured and managed via a front panel LCD or an RS232 VT-100 interface. The unit is equipped with an auto rate capability that identifies the maximum line rate supported by the copper loop. This powerful automatic configuration capability makes installation and provisioning simple and painless.
