The ERM-01 19" Rackmount chassis is 4U high and supports upto 13 fractional G.703 E1 cards. Each card has a single fractional G.703 port (either 75 Ohm BNC or 120 Ohm twisted pair) and a choice of a DTE port (X.21, V.35, 10BaseT, RS530, and RS449). Ideally suited for environments where a number of 2Mbps G.703 E1 circuits terminate and these need to connect to various other DTE interfaces.
The ERM-01 can be powered by either an AC or DV power supply and there is an additional slot for a second power supply providing redundancy. All the cards for the ERM-01 are hot swappable reducing costly network downtime.
The ERM-01 fully meets all of the E1 specifications including G.703, G.704, G.706, G.732 and G.823
