The HCT-6000 is a hand held communication tester, it is the perfect solution for circuit installations and troubleshooting. With support for a wide range of protocols - HDLC, SDLC, X.25, Frame Relay, TCP/IP and PPP - the user can test and monitor communication lines or networking equipment.

Programmable, the unit can be set up to emulate network DTEs and DCEs to aid in debugging, fault finding and interface development. Basic circuit integrity can be checked using a range of Bit Error Rate Tests at speeds up to 2Mbps using a variety of test patterns.

Test results can be viewed in various modes on the integral LCD display and then saved using the in-built File Manager for later analysis. A QWERTY keyboard, combined with an easy to use menu system make these testers a powerful addition to the engineers armoury.
