The LECA2 is a 2Mbps HDSL modem card designed for use with the LECAR desktop unit. The LECA2 provides direct internal access to the SDM's internal backplane as well as 2 front access interfaces.
The LECA2 can communicate with the LECAR over 2 twisted pairs of up to 12Km in length (1mm copper diameter).
The LECA2 has the following interface:-
Front panel 2 twisted pairs with optional line powering facility
Front panel G.703 2Mbps (120 or 75 Ohm)
Front panel X.21/V.11 n x 64Kbps (n=1 to 32)
Internal interface to SDM's backplane
