The RIGEN and MIRIG are ringing generators used in the SDM family. They provide the ringing voltage to the telephones connected to the SUBUK.

The RIGEN unit is used in the SDM-2 while the MIRIG is used in the SDM-1.

The RIGEN can simultaneously supply the ringing current for 24 telephone sets type 'Tritel' or for 120 subscriber sets with statistical distribution of the ringing signal.

The MIRIG is designed to provide about half the power of the RIGEN.
