The UNIDA-4 (UNIversal Data Access) card supports the following data interfaces and meets all the requirements outlined below:-

• 2 off RS449, V.36 interfaces
• Data rates:-
• 48Kbps, 56Kbps, n x 64Kbps (n=1 to 31) Sync
• 0.6Kbps to 38.4Kbps Sync/Async

With the UNIDA-4 it is possible to utilize the transmission facilities of the SDM to provide asynchronous as well as synchronous channels with low data rates to share 64Kbps time slots.

The UNIDA-4 provides data rates up to 2Mbps either framed (with CAS option) or unframed.

The UNIDA-4 supports 1 +1 protection to provide automatic switch over to backup transmission facilities
