Overview
The CT-INJ-SPL01 is an Industrial Grade Gigabit Ethernet PoE Splitter. The unit splits a PoE input into its separate Ethernet and DC power components. The Ethernet is presented on a single RJ45 connector and the DC Power on a screw terminal block. 12, 19 or 24VDC can be selected via a DIP switch to provide the correct voltage to the end equipment requiring power.
This device saves the high cost of running separate electrical services to edge devices that require DC power. The INJ-SPL01 acts as PD equipment and can itself be powered by a standard PoE switch or via in injector such as the INJ-IG01-PH or INJ-IG60-24. Simple settings of the INJ-SPL01 make it a plug and play device requiring no tools or software configuration, and provides ease of use, with flexible installation and high reliability.

What is Power over Ethernet ?
Power over Ethernet, commonly abbreviated to PoE, is a technology that enables DC power to be delivered over the same twisted pair copper cabling as the data. This allows end devices such as IP phones, CCTV cameras and wireless access points to receive power across the network and avoids the need to install electrical cabling and a power source at the remote end.
