Overview
The MaxGate300 industrial smart gateway is a rugged industrial Modbus gateway with excellent lightning and electromagnetic protection. It has been designed with high reliability and performance in mind.
It converts between ModbusRTU/ASCII and Modbus TCP protocols, supports 8-way RS232 or RS485 serial ports, and 2x10/100M adaptive Ethernet ports. MaxGate300 series can be used in power systems, industrial monitoring, traffic management, meteorology, water treatment, environmental monitoring, financial securities, coal mines, petroleum and other industries to complete on-site data collection and transmission, remote monitoring, on-site control and other systemfor a fast networked solution.
Security
Encryption is provided for Ethernet traffic using any of the built-in DES/3DES/AES/RC2/RC4/RC5/BlowFish algorithms. SSL TLS1.0/TLS1.1/TLS1.2 are also implemented.

Modbus TCP / RTU integration

Originally based on serial interfaces (RS232 and RS485) Modbus RTU enjoys widespread use throughout many different industries. Since then Ethernet has become the network of choice and many industrial devices now have native Ethernet interfaces.
