100/155Mbps SFP, MM, 1310nm, 2km

The SFM-5000-L31 is a 155Mb/s optical transceiver module for multimode fibre.  It is commonly used where compatibility with 100BaseFx is necessary or in many serial fibre products. The transmitter section utilises a multiple quantum well laser and is  class 1 laser compliant with  IEC-60825.  The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector reamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.  Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.  
The fully SFP compliant form factor provides hot pluggability, easy optical port upgrades and low EMI emissions.
