The managed industrial-grade IEC61850 Gigabit Ethernet switch with 8 Gigabit UTP ports and 3 dual rate 100/1000 SFP slots. It is fully compliant with the requirement of IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 for applications where 100% reliability is required. The switch provides a variety of redundant functions to increase the reliability of your communications system, including redundant and isolated power supplies of 24/48 VDC and 110/220V AC/DC and link redundancy functions of STP/RSTP/MSTP/ERPS and a proprietary ring protocol, features of IGMP, VLAN, QoS, ACL, Security, IPv6, bandwidth control, and port mirroring. Supports wide temperature operation of -40℃~85℃, fanless and rugged enclosure specifically designed for harsh substation network environments.




The units are equipped with both RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication for use in sensitive networks where security is paramount. SSL & SSH2 are also supported.  

1588 Precision Timing Protocol

These switches  support IEEE 1588 PTP V2 for precise time synchronization.  Each port may be configured independently  to operate in Ordinary-Boundary,  Peer to Peer Transparent Clock,  End to End Transparent Clock, Master, or Slave mode.  Accuracy is measured in nanoseconds, making it suitable for time sensitive applications such as mobile phone networks, military systems and large scale financial networks.
