12 Port Gigabit PoE+ switch with 4 fibre ports

Overview

The MW7212G-48P is a managed 12 port industrial Ethernet layer 2 switch with 4x gigabit SFP ports and 8x gigabit POE+ ports.   The copper ports are  suitable for powering standard IEEE802.3af/at compatible receiving devices such as IP cameras, IP telephones and other Powered Devices (PDs)

Management

The easy-to-use web management interfaces, along SNMP means faster setup and configuration and less downtime. It has many advanced management features.    These include  DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point), port mirroring, port trunking, and broadcast storm protection.  It supports SNMP V1/V2/V3 and RMON.   An alarm relay may be configured to monitor power status and/or link status.

Security

Advanced security is provided by 802.1X port authentication which verifies users, and provides local and RADIUS login control.

Performance

It uses store-and-forward technology, has wire speed bandwidth processing capabilities  and easily supports gigabit network speeds.  Port trunking allows the use of two, or more, ports to be combined for increased bandwith.  Ring features permit a resilient ring structure with <20ms recovery time in case of failure.

Reliability

The MW7212G-48P has an IP40 rugged aluminium housing which protects against dust and moisture.
