The new Argus 163-GS from Intec combines both xDSL and GPON testing in a field deployable handheld unit. 

The Argus 163-GS has been designed for carrier class qualification of Openreach's new single order products, SoGEA, SoGFast & SoTAP as well as fibre to the premises GPON services. Engineers can now rapidly commission both the FTTC and FTTP services from a single tester with no module changes.

All major xDSL services are cater for including ASDL2+, VDSL2 and G.Fast 212MHz. GPON G.984 service can be reliably installed with time to activation dramatically cut with advanced features such as PON-ID recognition and PON mapping.

The Argus 163-GS not only provides these baseline technologies but also includes IP throughput measurements via an integrated Ookla speed test app.  CP's can now test with confidence right up to the IP layer to ensure customers are receiving the Quality of Service they expect.
