Lanode adds CAN-bus support to Industrial range

Lanode are pleased to announce the latest additions to their expansive range of Ethernet Serial servers and Modbus gateways.

The CANET100, 200 and 300 are designed to enable the integration of CAN-bus interfaces into both traditional serial and modern Ethernet/IP networks.

The CANET100 provides bidirectional data transmission between a CAN-bus and RS232/485. With 4 different modes of operation including transparent, transparent with identification, format conversion and CAN to ModBus RTU. The CANET100 is a highly versatile unit allowing it to be integrated into a multitude of different scenarios.

The CANET200 is an industrial CAN-bus to Ethernet gateway with 2 CAN-bus interfaces and an Ethernet port, whereas the CANET300 has a CAN-bus, RS232/485 and an Ethernet interface. These 2 similar products with their diverse range of interfaces make the integration of CAN & serial devices into a modern Ethernet/IP network a simple matter. Both devices support many different modes of operation including TCP & UDP, Pair Connection, Virtual COM, as well as advanced ModBus RTU to TCP gateway functions.

All devices in the range have powerful web based management making deployment a quick and simple matter. Each is opto-isolated with independent surge protection on all interfaces. Industrially hardened with a wide operating temperature of -40 to +85^oC the CANET range can be powered from either the included AC/DC power supply or via an external DC source from 9 to 36V.
