Overview
Our OM1 Multimode fibre patch leads are manufactured with high quality components and designed to offer superior performance. OM1 is the first generation of multimode fibre and has an internal core of 62.5um. Although rarely installed for new applications it is still possible to provide 1Gbps Ethernet over 2km of OM1 fibre - see SFM-7000-L31 . All our multimode fibre patch leads are individually bagged with their own test certificate showing insertion and return loss. Each lead is terminated via a strain relief boot using a 3mm LSOH flame retardant cable.
