Overview

Manufactured with only the highest quality components, our OM5 fibre optic patch leads take advantage of the latest innovations in optical transmission technology. Namely shortwavelength division multiplexing (SDWM). OM5 in conjuction with SWDM substantially reduces the number of parrallel fibres allowing transmission of 100Gbps Ethernet over a single pair at distances of up to 150m. All our multimode fibre patch leads are individually bagged with their own test certificate showing insertion and return loss. Each lead is terminated via a strain relief boot using a 3mm LSOH flame retardant cable.
