Overview

The PL2000AD is the smallest and most integrated transport solution of its kind, reaching up to 200km/42dB without intermediate sites and 2500km with inline sites. It is a powerful 200G (2x 100G OTU4) multi-protocol multi-rate combined muxponder/transponder/ADM solution for building high capacity optical transport networks.

Flexibility

With its integrated EDFAs, mux/demux, and optical switch the PL2000ADS enables the same device to be used in multiple applications and adapt to network growth and changes without network disruption.

Encryption for all Services

The PL2000AD supports standards-based Layer-1 encryption, configurable per service or per uplink. Encryption based on GCM-AES-256 standards and Diffie-Hellman (DH) Key Exchange provides secure transport per service or per 200G uplink.

Management

The PL-2000AD is fully managed, configured and monitored remotely as part of the network, via in-band or out-of- band optical supervisory channel (OSC). In addition, the PL-2000AD supports both automatic gain control (AGC) and automatic power control (APC) operation modes. The amplifiers can be tuned to the network needs and monitored by PacketLight's free web-based management tool or PacketLight LightWatch^TM NMS.
