RS232/485 Serial fibre modem, ST or SC

The MWF201-M is a fibre optic modem for asynchronous serial data. The multi-protocol serial interface can accommodate RS232, RS485 or RS422 connections. The unit can auto detect data rates between 300 and 115,200bps minimising configuration and making installation a simple process.

The MWF201-M can drive serial data over multimode fibre at distances up to 2km and a choice of duplex ST or SC connectors are offered. The unit is DIN rail mountable and powered via dual redundant wide ranging inputs of 5 to 30vDC.  With a large operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C combined with its robust metal casing the MWF201-M is ideally suited for harsh environments where optimal performance is required.
