Overview
The FIB1-10/100 are standalone fibre optic media converters that provide 10/100Mbps conversion from RJ45 to singlemode fibre. Available with either an ST or SC fibre optic interface the FIB1-10/100 is easily deployed due to its small size and low power consumption. The converter can operate in auto negotiation mode or its speed & duplex can be hard set. Additional features include link loss forwarding, remote status monitoring and the ability to invoke test loops. A variety of LED indicators are present showing link status, link activity, duplex and speed. The RJ45 interface support Auto MDI/X negating the need for cross over cables. The converter is supplied with an external AC to 12V DC adapter.
